Sherman, N.Y. recently hosted the 2nd annual Write Around
the Block writers' workshop held near Findley Lake, N.Y.
Innkeepers, Roger and Jennifer TeWinkle welcomed writers from the
local area and as far away as Oklahoma. A great getaway destination
in which to write in a comfortable setting then step out and be

Write Around The Block |
Write Around the Block is a consortium
made up of three published writers who have pooled their collective
talents. They produce workshops that tap a student's well of
creativity using thoughtful and gentle encouragement. Teachers, Liz,
Sara and Tracy lead participants through a variety of prompts that
inspire poetry, fiction and memoir. Their approach brings aspiring
as well as experienced writers, many of whom return each year for
more. These women select retreat locations that will motivate your
muse.
